I hope to balance out the last post with some positivity. First off, I finished the headband. I twisted it once before connecting the ends and it's quite comfortable. :) Second, I've actually had a lovely past few days. I took my wee cousins on a nice outing with a picnic and a stroll through downtown. They are the sweetest girls. I'm going to miss them so much. I also spent some time with Christian and when we were on the brink of utter boredom we decided to make a movie. It's 7 1/2 minutes long at the moment and not anywhere near finished. Who knows if it ever will be, but it was a very fun way to pass the time. I personally prefer directing, editing, and filming to acting. Jake and his friend joined us. Today primarily consisted of waxing, resume-writing (thank you Mom), and How-I-Met-Your-Mother-watching. I still have to start Wuthering Heights but if I read about 40 pages tomorrow and Saturday I'll be done. My desk is clean, I've been fitted for my dress for Mr. Thunder, and I unfortunately did not receive the General Scholarship from WOU. This is my break. And Sunday--Easter--will be a lovely time at my grandparents' house with my family. It's been really nice to have a break.
Crap... I have to catch up on Calculus homework.
Although my mom is probably the only person who will read this, I rather like how my blog has evolved. I'll probably try to advertise it more when I start the next one this summer. Only 2 more months (plus like a week). I gotta find myself a job...

Spring Break
Well, I'm no longer sick. But this break so far has proven to be thoroughly uneventful. I have no real plans until next Sunday for Easter--it's going to be a long week. I've been doing a lot of writing in my journal, photography, making music, and today I started knitting a headband. It's been so long. Also this week I have to read the first nine chapters of Wuthering Heights. I seriously hope it isn't too boring, I don't need any more reason to be bored this week. Otherwise I've just been dicking around on my computer. For the most part my friends are out of town, working all the time, or just busy, so I've spent a lot of time alone the past couple days. The most exciting occurrence has been receiving my dress for Skyliner in the mail. I hope things brighten up a little soon.

Huzzah!
I finished my scarf! I'm so proud! I didn't make any mistakes and I taught myself how to 'bind off' to finish it. I'm so glad it's Friday. We have a three-day weekend. I should get my first paycheck tomorrow at work! It's supposed to be really busy up there. I also had my first behind-the-wheel session at driver's ed. Just in general, I am not a fan of driver's ed. However, it is quite useful. There has been really nice, warmish weather lately and I'll be sad when it's gone. I'm pretty much ready for the snow to leave now. Here I go, talking about the weather. I think it's a sign that I should stop writing. So bye!

Scarf
I've been knitting a scarf! I did a ton today and I'm really proud because I haven't made any mistakes! It's not done yet--there's about a foot to go. :)
Nothing really interesting is going on lately. Behind-the-wheel at driver's ed starts tomorrow after school. Also at school I'm doing a 'challenge day' thing. Right now I'm witnessing Kate tape guitar picks to her wall. We might make a collage from magazines. Not sure what of but let's do it! :)
I realize now that in the picture I wasn't looking at the camera.
